Mob Brutalises Abraka Teenager Who Allegedly Steals Female Pants For Money Rituals
A 13-year-old boy was recently apprehended in Abraka while allegedly attempting to steal a female student’s pants in one of the commercial hostels in Abraka, Delta State.
The boy, who is well known in the area as a plantain chip seller, was caught while attempting to smuggle the student’s pants through her bathroom window.
The student was fortunate to be in her apartment at the time of the attempted theft and alerted her neighbors who immediately apprehended the teenager.
A preliminary search showed that the boy had four other stolen pants in his possession which he has been collecting for suspected ritual purposes.
He also confessed to keeping the stolen items in an uncompleted building within the area.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity told DELSU Echo that the boy confessed that he had been collecting the pants and underwear of girls with the hope of “using it to buy Benz”.

“The incident happened opposite my hostel. He tore the net of someone’s window to collect pants. The girl caught him in the act.
“After collecting (the pants), he takes them to an uncompleted building.
“So after that girl caught him, he confessed and took them to the uncompleted building”.
A video obtained by DELSU Echo showed how the teenager was beaten up by an angry mob, with some people wondering the motivation behind the teenager’s quick wealth approach to life.
