The bulletin stated that the online application form costs N2,000 only, and it is payable at any bank approved by the university.
Accordingly, interested candidates are required to visit the institution’s official website, www.delsu.edu.ng to complete the online form and generate an application virtual pin prior to making payment at the bank.
DELSU Echo reports that DELSU has become one of the most sought after institutions for undergraduate and postgraduate education in Nigeria largely due to its uninterrupted academic calendar and flourishing academic environment that supports learning and research.
This month, the university has received a number of National Universities Commission (NUC) teams on resource verification and approval of its new programme.
These visits have yielded much benefits as evident in the recent NUC approval for the commencement of six academic programmes under the newly established Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
The new programmes are Broadcasting, Journalism and Media Studies, Public Relations, Advertising, Mass Communication, and Film and Multimedia.
In the last quarter of 2022, the university secured full accreditation status from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for all of its academic programmes and has since continued to extend its frontiers.
The Alper/Doger (AD) Scientific Index Ranking for 2023 listed DELSU as the 27th best university in Nigeria and the 4th best state university in Nigeria.
It further listed DELSU as the best state university in the South-South and South-East Nigeria.
The Vice Chancellor of DELSU, Prof. Andy Egwunyenga had promised that his administration “will continue to take giant strides to place the university in the world map as far as university ranking and infrastructural development are concerned.”
