on

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continued its campaign efforts in Edo North, visiting Fugar in Etsako Central and Agbede in Etsako West local government areas. The events drew large crowds, with hundreds defecting from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to join the PDP.

Governor Godwin Obaseki expressed satisfaction with the turnout, praising the people for their support. He highlighted the achievements of his administration and introduced the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate, Asue Ighodalo, who promised to build on existing progress and bring prosperity to the state.

Ighodalo commended Obaseki’s administration for its work in education, infrastructure, and healthcare, and pledged to eradicate poverty and ensure good governance. He emphasized the importance of continuity for progress and urged the people to vote for the PDP.

Other PDP chieftains, including Chief Mike Ogiadomeh and Barr. Pascal Ugbome, also spoke at the events, praising Ighodalo and his running mate, Osarodion Ogie, as a capable team. The Director General of the Asue Ogie Campaign Council, Hon Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, criticized the APC as not being an option for progress in Edo State.
