A devastating incident occurred in Kano’s Fagge Local Government Area on Thursday, resulting in the loss of two lives and injuring two others. The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed the incident, which involved the collapse of a two-storey building at Noman’s Land Quarters in Kano.

According to Dr. Nuraddeen Abdullahi, NEMA Coordinator in Kano, the agency received a distress call at approximately 2:00 a.m. and promptly dispatched a rescue team to the scene. The team rescued four individuals, consisting of a husband, wife, and two children. Unfortunately, the two children succumbed to their injuries, while the couple was rushed to the Armed Forces Specialist Hospital in Kano for medical attention.
