Ebuka Donates Public Address Systems to FSS, Gets Commendation

Comr. Ebuka Onyeuba, the Senator representing the Faculty of Social Sciences at Delta State University, Abraka, has donated six public address systems (PAS) to the six departments of the faculty.
Onyeuba, who is a final year student of Mass Communication, said the gesture was in furtherance of his efforts to support teaching and learning activities in the faculty.
Prior to the distribution, the student-senator had paid a courtesy visit to the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Sam Ogege to inform him of his intention.

He explained that the PAS would facilitate better interaction between lecturers and students in lecture halls, and would contribute to the overall academic experience of the students within the faculty.
He added that he has had challenges of grasping what lecturers were teaching in class due to the unavailability of PAS so he thought it wise to provide them with a public address system to aid in their studies.

Ogege utilised the opportunity to commend the student unionist and encourage others to toe the part of contributing meaningfully to the development of the institution.
He observed that these public address system would be valuable assets for the entire faculty, enhancing communication during lectures, seminars and other events.
On his part, the President of Social Science Students Association (SOSSA), Hon. Victor Chukwuedo commended Onyeuba’s benevolence, highlighting the positive impact of the PAS on students’ classroom experience.
