Live In Consciousness Of Future Generations, Cleric Urges Christians

The Resident Pastor of Ministry of Perfection Church, Abraka, Dr Henry Osazevbaru, has urged Christians in Nigeria to be conscious of their lifestyle and lead lives that would attract God’s generational blessings to them and their families.
In his homily titled “Generational Blessings”, Osazevbaru said certain actions of believers may predispose them to either generational blessings or curses, urging Christians to align with God in all their ways.
“There are generational blessings and generational curses”, the cleric said in his sermon anchored on Romans 5:12-19.
“There are things that can attract generational blessings and there are also things that can attract generational curses; both of them exist”.
He explained that God’s blessings are like genes that are transferrable from parents to their offspring, noting that Christians who remain steadfast in God stand the chance of enjoying the continuous covering of God’s covenant over their family from one generation to another.
“Don’t live your life as if it is going to end with you because you are going to produce generations.
“You should be concerned about what will happen to the generations that will come out of you”, he admonished.

In a related sermon, the resident Pastor of Delta State University Interdenominational Chapel, Abraka, Prof. Ayobola Ehwarieme, has advised Christians to anchor their life on God and refrain from making emotion-based decisions.
In his sermon titled “Living without God”, Ehwarieme observed that things may go south if Christians fail to allow God to direct their daily affairs, citing copious biblical examples of people who neglected God and how they ended in destruction.
He outlined several characteristics of people living without God, including their propensity to attribute their success to themselves, inability to involve God in their daily lives and decisions, and outright reckless living.
