NNPP Makes Critical Leadership Change In Gombe, Gives New Directive
On Monday, the New Nigeria Peoples Party inaugurated a five-member caretaker committee to oversee the party’s affairs in Gombe State for a six-month term.
This move follows the dissolution of party leadership in five states, including Gombe, by the National Working Committee.
The newly formed committee comprises Chairman Abdullahi Mohammed, Secretary Abubakar Kalagar, and members Sulaiman Hamza, Dauda Muhammad Bajoga, and Ambrose Ismail.
In his address following the inauguration, Chairman Abdullahi Mohammed emphasized the importance of unity and collective support.
“It is with great pride and a profound sense of duty that I announce the establishment of the new Caretaker Committee for the Gombe State Chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

“This committee is tasked with reinforcing the party’s structures and promoting inclusiveness as we prepare for upcoming political challenges.”
Urging for harmony, the Chairman called for cohesive efforts.
Abubakar Kalagar, the Coordinator for Gombe Central, also appealed to members to unite and contribute their perspectives to advance the party.
“This committee will manage the party’s affairs until a Congress is held in six months,”he added.
The event, which will feature a lecture titled “Fuel Subsidy Removal and the Condition of Women in Nigeria”, will take place on September 17th, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Faculty’s Large Lecture Theatre in Site 3 of DELSU Abraka campus.
