2024/2025 Admission: DELSU Announces Cut-Off Marks

Delta State University has officially announced the cut-off marks for the 2024/2025 admission exercise across various faculties, with medicine and surgery taking the lead at an impressive cut of 73.

This announcement, made in the university’s bulletin on september 13, 2024, outlines the minimum scores required for prospective students.

In the Faculty of Agriculture, several programs, such as Agribusiness Management, Agronomy, and Soil Science, have set their cut-off marks at 40.

The Faculty of Arts which features English & Literary Studies with a cut-off of 42, while other programs like French and Philosophy maintain a minimum requirement of 40.

The cut-off marks of the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences is slightly high, with Anatomy and Cell Biology at 45, Medical Biochemistry at 50, and Nursing Science requiring 55.

In the Faculty of Dentistry, the cut-off for Dentistry is 62.

In the engineering disciplines, the Faculty of Engineering requires 43 for Chemical Engineering and 48 for Civil Engineering.

Law students will need a score of 63 to be considered for admission.

In the Faculty of Management Sciences, cut-off marks are 53 for Accounting and Finance and 52 for Business Administration.

The Faculty of Pharmacy has a higher requirement of 65, while the Faculty of Science features a variety of cut-off marks, with Biology (Zoology) and Physics set at 40.

The Faculty of Education has established a general cut-off of 40 for most programs, with a few exceptions reaching up to 47.

Meanwhile, Senior Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin of Christ MercyLand Ministry has denied using the name of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) on its spiritual items to deceive Nigerians.

Fufeyin spoke through his church’s media outfit, MercyLand Television Deliverance Ministry, which issued a statement signed by Sophia Iloyd, faulting a media report by a national daily online.
