Kidnappers Abduct Delsu Students’ Unionist, Omorohwovo

Some unidentified Gunmen have abducted a member of the 28th Assembly Student Union Government, SUG, Comr. Julius Omorohwovo.
Omorohwovo, who served as SUG Director of Finance, was reportedly whisked away from his Ibada-Amoukpe residence located close to the Sapele area of Delta State.
A source told DELSU Echo that Omorohwovo had reportedly arrived his compound in a car when the abductors who had surreptitiously been on his trail drove into his compound and whisked him away to an unknown destination.

The Victim hails from Aghalokpe in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State and recently graduated from the Department of Mass Communication at Delta State University, Abraka.
Some students who commented on the development expressed worries over Omorohwovo’s abduction and appealed to security agencies to ensure his safe release.
The kidnap victim has since been released after his family reportedly paid an undisclosed ransom demanded by the kidnappers.
